Workin' 9 to 5

Riley got to come to my work this afternoon! She got to see where her mom goes everyday when she leaves. All of my coworkers thought she was so cute, of course. She even helped me take a few phone calls!

2 months old!

On Friday, Riley turned 2 months old! Time really does fly. We took her to the doctor for her check-up and Dr. Heller said our girl is doing great! She is now 10 pounds and 23 inches long. She got 4 vaccines too. Riley cried and so did her mom! Those shots put her in a dismal mood on Friday evening, but this weekend she was back to her usual happy, smiling self. Her smile makes me so happy!

My Fair Ladies

Yesterday, we went to the fair at Skylar's school, Christ The King. We had so much fun! Skylar got to play lots of games and ride some great rides. She even got me to ride something called "The Sizzler", which pretty much made me sick for the rest of the day! We also enjoyed a performannce by Amanda Shaw. Riley slept right through her very first concert! It was a great day to spend with my family.

A Great Start

Well, Riley and I survived my first week back at work! It has been a long week- the hardest since Riley came into my life. It was so hard to leave her on Monday. I was full of tears and worry. Luckily, Riley has 3 wonderful people to care for her while I'm at work. Her two Grams and Ms. Kitty take great care of her and that makes me feel good. She is doing great on her schedule and sleeping well at night. I now have to cherish each second I have with her in the morning and afternoon since I miss her so much during the day. Happy Birthday Papa Joe

Last night we got together to celebrate Papa Joe's birthday. We had some delicious dinner and Riley had a great time playing with her cousin, Evie.

Congrats Amy and Toby!

This past weekend, we had a luncheon for Amy as she prepares for the arrival of our family's first baby boy, Kelley! She got some great gifts and it got all of us excited for his upcoming birthday on May21st. Evie got some big sis practice by holding Riley at the party.
