KK turned the BIG 5-0 last week! We joined her for a birthday celebration yesterday. It was lots of fun!

Riley's New Friend

This past week , Riley got a chance to hang out with her new friend, Aubrey. She is the 3 year granddaughter of one of my co-workers and she loves to play with Riley. Here's a photo of the girls getting to know one another.

3 months!

How fast time flies! Our baby girl is 3 months old today. Riley is getting bigger and cuter everyday. We are so blessed to have such a happy baby. She is awesome!!!

Happy Birthday Kelley!

Today we welcomed into the world the most precious baby boy, Kelley Patrick Comeaux. He arrived at 8:30AM weighing 6 pounds and measuring 19 inches long. He is so tiny and perfect... the little prince of our great family. Amy did great with her C-section, too (much easier than last time)! Amy and Toby are so lucky to have 2 happy and healthy kids! They are great parents and Evie is a proud big sis. Much love and happiness to the Comeaux family.

Rockin' and a Rollin'!

Our big girl learned a new skill this past weekend. She's now rolling over! Who knew such a small thing could give us such a big thrill. Here she is showing off her new talent... followed by a series of sneezes!

My Sweet Evie

Last Thursday my godchild, Evie, celebrated her 2nd birthday! We went to Baton Rouge this weekend to celebrate her special day. She was so cute and really enjoyed her party. In fact, she made everyone sing "Happy Birthday" to her twice! Skylar, Riley, and myself all had a great time, too. She is such a sweet and sassy little girl... I can't get enough of her! We love our Evie!!!!

In the past week, we got to celebrate 2 graduations! Skylar graduated from kindergarten at Christ the King elementary school and her dad and I couldn't be prouder. She is a great student and she will be an awesome 1st grader soon! We also got to celebrate with Johnny's nephew, Glenn. He graduated from Rummel yesterday and will be attending Delgado in the fall to pursue a degree in computer science. Way to go Glenn!

Mother's Day

I had an awesome mother's day! I got specials gifts from all my daughters.... Riley, Skylar, and Lola! We spent the day with family and it was great. I hope I can be as good a mom to Riley as my mom has been to me. I love being a mom!

St. Riley

I'm a little late in posting, but Riley did get baptized on May 2nd! She was welcomed into the catholic church with a wonderful ceremony and family gathering after. It was a special day and Riley looked beautiful!
She is lucky because she has 2 godmothers. Amy and Chere were chosen to be Riley's godparents because they are both such loving and caring women. They are both great mothers and will be great godmothers to Riley!

Here is Riley in her Saints outfit! She loves the Saints already and this morning she started practicing her cheers for the upcoming football season.
