Queen of Hearts

It was a party fit for a queen! We celebrated Riley's first birthday with a Mad Hatter tea party. Riley is lucky to have so many family and friends who love her. It was a day to remember and thanks to all those who helped make her first birthday wonderful, especially Grandnan and Poppie. Riley wants everyone to know she had a great time!!! :)

What a special day! Riley and I got to spend the whole day together. We started with breakfast at Chateau Coffee Cafe. Then we went to The Monkey Room. Riley had some serious play

time! We finished off the day with a giant cupcake after dinner. It was a very special birthday!

Happy Birthday Riley!

I really can't believe it's been a year already! It seems like yesterday I was toting around

that giant baby belly and even larger feet. This past year has been the most incredible year of my life. To watch my girl grow and change from a tiny helpless infant into an energetic and sweet little toddler has been amazing. I know how lucky Johnny and I have been to be blessed with such a happy and healthy baby (God bless "Babywise"). Our girl's got personality! Every new skill learned or noise she makes thrills me to no end and I never knew I could love someone this much. Happy Birthday to my heart and soul.... my sweet Riley Jane!

Today we went to McDonald's for a birthday party. Skylar and Riley's friend, LJ, turned 5! Riley enjoyed her french fries while Skylar enjoyed playing like a maniac on the jungle gym. We had a great time. Happy Birthday LJ!

These Shoes Are Made for Walking

Riley hates shoes! She tries her hardest to take all her shoes and socks off whenever I put them on her. A few days ago, we were able to get these little tennis shoes on her chubby feet and she practiced her walking. She is soooo close to walking! She even took a few steps toward her daddy tonight.

Skylar

The best word I can use to describe Skylar is thoughtful. She is always thinking of others and loves to spend time with friends and family. She sometimes gets lost in the shuffle due to the fact that all of her cousins are age 2 and under. But she is always so sweet to all the babies and can't wait to see them. Riley and Evie adore her and Kelley and Henry soon will too!

It's been a long time since Skylar and I got to hang out... just us. Before Riley came along, her and I had some adventurous Saturdays. We shopped, went to the movies and all sorts of things. So this weekend, we spent some girl time together. It is important that she knows how special she is to me even though she's not with us all the time like Riley is. We went the to Posh Paint Pub for some ceramics painting and had lunch at Zoe's Kitchen. Skylar had "the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich she's ever had in her life!" We finished off our day with a trip to Gram and Papa's house and today she got to meet Henry. She is a great big sister, an awesome cousin, and a super daughter. Everybody loves Skylar!!!!

Tiny Dancer

This girl loves to dance. She dances to all her toys that play music and when her daddy and I sing!

The Littlest Dimm

Congratulations Eric and Katie!!!! VERY early this morning, we welcomed Henry Joseph, the newest and littlest member of the Dimm family. He weighed in at 6 pounds 12 ounces and 20 inches long. Baby, Mommy, and Daddy are doing great! We are so excited he's finally here and we can't wait to get to know him. The whole experience of being at the hospital for the labor and delivery is such an awesome and memorable time and I'm so happy to have been a part of it.
