Bottle Update!

Well, we have had 5 whole days with no bottles and so far so good. We have tried to give her a sippy cup with milk after her bath, but Riley is not interested. She pushes it away and says "NO"! She's no fool! She knows its not the real thing. Sooooo, we just put her to bed and she still goes right to sleep.(Thank goodness)

Here's the one dilemma. She won't drink milk at all! I offer it every morning and she will not take one sip. She will only drink juice or water, no milk. So we are trying to make sure she gets her dairy with yogurt and cheese and thankfully she loves both. We're hoping she'll start drinking milk again soon. Riley needs strong bones because she falls all the time!

Our next parenting challenge? Trying to to get her to listen when she's in trouble. Riley likes to laugh at her mommy when she's getting fussed at. This parenting thing can be really tricky..........

No More Bottles...

Where has time gone? This girl gets bigger and more independent everyday. Yesterday was our last bottle :( We were down to just a bottle at night time. It was just a little something to calm her before bed and a chance for me to snuggle and love on her. We decided to stop it before she got way too attached to her bottles. I'm not sure who this was harder for... me or Riley! It's just another reminder that my little baby is not a baby anymore, but a wild and crazy little girl.

Child Labor!

Yesterday was the Gambit Wellness Expo at Lakeside Mall and my company participated. Skylar, Riley, and I spent a little time working the Canon Hospice booth. We gave out information and popcorn. Skylar was a big help and I think she had a lot of fun.

A Tuesday by the Pool

Tuesday was a crazy day! Henry, Evie, Kelley, and Riley all spent the day at Gram and Papa's house. I took the day off work to help Gram and we spent the afternoon playing outside. All the babies had so much fun. Henry is not pictured here, but he did sit on Papa's lap and watch all his cousins play like crazy. What a cute bunch of babies!!!!!

Happy 10th Birthday Chase!

Saturday Johnny's little brother, Chase, turned 10! He celebrated with an awesome skating party in which Skylar only busted her butt on the rink once while Riley watched excitedly on the side. Riley danced to every song and waved to all the passing skaters. Both girls had a blast. Then we went to Chase's house for a yummy family dinner. Thanks CC and Paw-Paw for having us over... it was a fun day!
