Merry Christmas!

I had lots of anticipation leading up to Christmas and the big day didn't disappoint! This was the best Christmas ever. Seeing the pure joy on Riley's face melts my heart. She was so excited about everything we did, except church, which she wanted no part of because it involved sitting still. As I look around the house at the 1,000 new toys, I know that I am truly blessed to have such a loving and generous group of family and friends. Riley and Skylar are 2 lucky girls. Thank you to everyone who helped make this holiday one to remember.... not just for the gifts, but for the great company too!

Santa set up quite a spread for the girls....

And they loved it!
Merry Christmas !!!

Gingerbread Houses

Friday, I got to go to Skylar's school to help her class make gingerbread houses! It was really special to be with Skylar and participate in a school activity with her. All of her classmates are really sweet and creative. It was a messy and delicious afternoon!

Holiday Hayride

I took the girls to Covington this weekend to our friend, Elizabeth's, parents house for a holiday hayride! We had so much fun. We took 2 hayrides, sang christmas carols, and had hot chocolate. It is so great to see all of friends kids playing with our own kids. The girls loved it and can't wait to go again! Many thanks to the Nieto's for hosting such a great day.
Baby snack time... and a little chatting. Too cute!

Riley partied til she dropped!

Breakfast with Santa!

Skylar's school, Christ the King, hosted a breakfast with Santa today. The girls were really excited to see Santa. We had pancakes, did some arts and crafts, and, of course, took a picture with Santa. Riley loved to watch Santa from afar, but when it came to sitting on his lap, she was terrified! Sooooo, mommy got to be in the Santa photo too. Hopefully this means Santa will bring me something for Christmas too. I have been good for most of the year. Happy Holidays everyone!

All dressed up and ready to meet Santa!
