Bergeron Buddies Day!

We had a fun day with Chase (Johnny's little brother)! We started our day by going to see Chase's baseball game. He is on the Holy Cross 5th grade team. They beat Country Day by a score of 8-2. Go Tigers! Riley really enjoyed her ring pop during the game...
Next, we went to the mall. Skylar and Chase showed us their best jumping skills. They did awesome!
We finished off the day with some CiCi's Pizza. Who knew how much pizza these kids could eat? I can definitely say they got their 3 dollars worth.
It was so much fun having Chase with us. Riley loves him so much and Skylar enjoys having someone fun to hang out with. Can't wait to have Chase over again!

The countdown is on!

We are now just one week away from Operation Easter Bunny. We have been telling Riley for about a month now that she is going to give all her nunu's to the Easter Bunny so that he can give them to babies who need them. In exchange for her nunu's, the Easter Bunny will leave her a big basket of candy! The idea of lots of candy seems to be exciting her but I am preparing myself for the worst. This girl craves her nunu's at bedtime and wakes up as soon as she realizes one is not in her mouth. I foresee a few weeks of poor sleep for all of us. So I plan to cherish the next 7 nights of sleep just in case. Let's all start praying now! I will keep you updated.

They all asked for you...

Saturday we went to the zoo! Riley really loved the zoo. She especially loved hanging out with her best buddies, Evie and Kelley. We had a great time with the Comeauxs and Gram and Papa and we are looking forward to going back to the zoo soon.
We finished off our day with a trip to Venezia's and Brocato's... Yummy!
Then it was back to Gram and Papa's for a little sing-a-long with me and Amy. We are really tone deaf, but luckily, the kiddos still loved it!

Go Eagles!

My baby is going to school!!! Riley received a letter in the mail today stating that she has been accepted to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. She will become a St. Elizabeth Eagle in the fall as she starts their Pre-K 2 program. Johnny and I are really excited. The school is great and their pre-k 2 and pre-k 3 facility is amazing. We are looking forward to her getting the group setting and social skills she has been missing out on. She will be going part time, 3 days a week. This works out great so she can still spend time with her 2 Grams! Feeling proud and a little teary eyed (what a surprise...) that my baby is becoming such a big girl! Congrats Riley Jane!

Story time!

Last week we visited Barnes and Noble for story time! Riley was really excited to sit by the other kids and listen to the story.... at first. Then she decided she wanted to get on stage with the story teller! First she snuck Dora onto the stage. Then slowly, she decided to creep on stage until she made it to the chair. All the parents were giggling at her and I, of course, was snapping pictures. That cutie pie stole the show!
