Our Little Angel

This weekend Skylar made her first communion!  We had a wonderful weekend filled with communion activities!  Sky had rehearsal on Saturday.  The I took her to  lunch and to get her nails done.  Then she helped me make food for her party on Sunday.  We got up really early on Sunday so we could make sure Skylar looked beautiful... and she did!  Her dad, Riley, and I are very proud of her for receiving this Sacrament, and for being a great girl.  Congrats Skylar, we love you!

My New Dora Hat

We have yet another Dora treasure to add to Riley's vast assortment of Dora collectibles.  Gram bought her a Dora hat!  She loves it and wants to wear it just about everyday.  Plus, it looks really cute on her!  She even shared it with her friend, Cash, last night.  Well, they traded.

Thanks, Gram!

Princess Sleepover

Skylar had a chance to hang out with her friend, Sydnie. First, I took the girls to the French Quarter. I had fun hanging out with them. Eight year olds are highly entertaining! Then, they got to go to the movies with Aunt Amanda and Uncle Wayne. Then, they had a sleepover at Uncle Wayne's house. I am so glad Skylar got to spend some time with her friend. They had a great time together.

The Scooter Sisters

These sisters love going outside to ride their scooters!

She's finally got it! Riley's a little slow, but she's mastered the technique. She'll be zooming in no time!

Riding my Bike

Riley is learning how to ride her bike! She is still trying to master the steering and pedals, but her daddy is a good teacher. She should be off and running in no time.

Taking instructions from Daddy
Trying to work those pedals
She thinks its easier to just put her feet on the ground and walk her bike!
Whew! Time for a water break!

So far so good....

3 nights already with no nunu's! The first night was rough! Riley cried soooo much. She cried herself to sleep and I cried listening to her cry :( When she woke up Easter morning, she went straight for the basket we left on the fireplace to look for her nunu's. What she saw was that the Easter Bunny took them all and left her with some Hershey Kisses. She didn't even see the other things that the Easter Bunny left for her! Since then, Riley has only asked for her nunu's a couple of times and has not cried for them at all. I am so excited about how well she has adjusted. I was expecting weeks of no sleep! I am so proud of her. She is such a big girl! Now on to potty training.......

Bye Bye Kitty

Thursday was the last day that Riley went to Ms. Kitty's house. She has decided to retire! It is bittersweet because Riley loves Ms. Kitty and Mr. Rick so much. She has been going to their house since she was 6 weeks old. I dropped that little bundle off there on my first day back at work. Since then, she has been loving every minute of being with them. They have help shape her into the precious little girl she has become! We will miss Ms. Kitty and Mr. Rick but I know we will still go by their house for visits so Riley can still spend time with them. Thanks Ms. Kitty and Mr. Rick. We love you!

Happy Easter!

We celebrated Easter a week early at KK and Poppie's house. We had a fantastic time with our family. We had lunch, an Easter egg hunt, and we also dyed Easter eggs and decorated cookies. It was a fun filled day and we are all pooped! Thanks to everyone for a wonderful day.

Ready to roll... they look great!
