Shreveport!

Yesterday, Johnny, his mom, and myself headed to Shreveport!  It was our first trip to northern Louisiana since Skylar moved there.  We went to see her scuba dive.  She did a scuba camp and they had a demo for families to come and see all the scuba skills they learned.  Sky did great!  Looks like she learned a lot and we really enjoyed getting to be a part of something in her new city.  Go Scuba Skylar!!

I did it all for the Nook...

Our little computer genius got a new gadget yesterday!  Inspired by the fact that Riley can navigate through my smartphone like a champ, Johnny & I decided to get her a tablet so that she can play games and read e-books without calling everyone on my contacts list and changing all the settings on my phone.  We are amazed at how fast she learned how to use it.  She is a wiz!  The games are mostly educational & she loves to read.  Plus, Johnny & I can use it too, if we can get her to put it down!                                              

Pool Party Fun!

This afternoon, we went to Slidell to celebrate the birthdays of Abby and Maddie.  They had a pool party!  It was a great party and all the kids had a really fun time.  There was a toddler pool that was only 2 feet high so it was the perfect place for Riley to splash around.  Skylar also had a great time hanging out with the "big girls" since she's always around the babies.  Happy birthday Hebert girls and thanks for a fun party!
